Ingredients

  • 1 large potatoes


  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour


  • 1 medium size onion finely chopped


  • 1/4 teaspoon green chili paste


  • Salt to taste


  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • Oil for Shallow fry

Directions

  • This is a traditional potato pancake recipe, and is a wonderful comfort food which made with little more than grated potatoes, onions and flavorful spices.
  • Grate potato and sqeeuze it to remove starch from potatoes.
  • Take all the ingredients in mixing bowl (potato, onion, gramflour, green chilli paste, salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder. Mix all the ingredients well if required n add little water to make mixture.
  • Heat oil on nonstick pan, put tablespoon batter on tawa n spread it in round shape. Shallow fry from both the sides on low flame until it done golden. Transfer it on absorbing paper.
  • Serve this hot with chutney.
